I planted some pansies for Hanno

I plant pansies in big plastic barrels every spring, around mid-March. They remind me of Hanno, now – he was a sweet and gentle dog (towards people) and also because he would be outside with me when I planted them since they were on the dog-side of the backyard. I bought these from Ravenna Gardens at the University Village over the weekend.

Hanno actually used to dig some pansy plants out of the soil when I wasn’t looking. He loved eating the manure.
