When I get Chinese take out, the boys always get their own fortune cookies. Derek: “A thrilling time is in your immediate future.” Hanno: “You will always be surrounded by those who love you.”

When this dog looks at me, he is always smiling. I wish I knew what he was thinking about.

Derek and I went to Ilsa’s house to watch the Super Bowl.

Hanno was never a huge fan of puppies and it took him about 4-5 months before he really started to warm up to Derek.

I love the way Hanno plays – he doesn’t bite Derek, directly; he bites next to Derek’s head and pushes his cheek against Derek’s face and neck and then he switches sides.
